show of the season with a total of 31 entries ex- hibiting their talents and skills to our good friend and judge, Joe Carter. Fresh cattle kept everybody on their toes throughout the day. As always, there was a great turnout of spectators cheering on the contestants. The highlight of the day was Dayna McNeil making her debut in the show pen to the hooting and hollering of all of the other contest- ants. It is always so good to see everybody show- ing their support and encouragement to somebody starting out. Way to go Dayna! At lunch, there was a big birthday cake and celebration for Dave Hamilton’s 70th - Happy Birthday, Dave!

This show will not only have our Awards but our Annual General Meeting, a BBQ dinner and a Silent Auction. Plans are in the works for a new clinic showing people how to improve as turn back riders and herd holders as well as settling the herd. Also for next year, a team competition with the On- tario Cutting Horse Association is being discussed. Should be fun.
