The Halesworth Town Sign, located by the side of the Angel Link Road, was made by Mark Goldsworthy of Bungay. The work represents the everyday people of Halesworth and some of their trades. They are marching past six railway arches, representing the six railway bridges of Halesworth and are carrying a banner proclaiming their town. The banner is stained blue to represent the Town’s river. The Town name is stated in bold lettering. On the


back is the Town crest and the artist’s name. Two brackets represent the American Airforcemen who were a familiar sight here during the second World war.
