Seminar – “Permeable Interlocking Concrete Pavements - Sustainable Design” This course will review PICP’s as a tool for controlling storm water runoff by allowing for infiltration into the soil while reducing pollution and improving water quality.


The Learning Objectives: • Know how to select permeable interlocking concrete pavements • Understand the types of construction options for the base and when each is applied • Show how PICP’s can be used as an effective tool to control storm water management problems • Compare the differences among permeable pavers, pervious concrete and porous asphalt
