Apprentice Digital Printer / Print Finisher


The Micropress Digital department are looking for a full time employee to train under the popular and highly successful BPIF Print Apprenticeship Scheme.


The candidate will train throughout a 2 year period (approx.) covering all aspects of Digital Print and Print Finishing.


Full training will be given on our digital presses which include two colour and two mono presses. Also on all our digital finishing equipment which includes, Booklet Making, Perfect Binding, Creasing, Folding, Wiro-binding, trimming, laminating, Wide format printing, poster mounting, banner assembly and finishing.


The candidate must be able to work well within a team and manage their time effectively when working on their own. They must be diligent and have a drive to provide the best products possible for our customers.


Hours will be 8.30 – 4.30 each day with 30 min lunch break, 5 days per week. 21 days holiday + bank holidays. Overtime and weekends maybe expected throughout our busy production periods.

We operate a treble shift system of earlies, lates and nights and offer a competitive package for a skilled Press Room Machine Minder.


Part Time Casual Bindery Assistants Our large and busy Bindery Department is currently seeking


assistants to work casual shifts either daytime or evening, some weekend work may be offered.


Work will include assisting on our binding lines which may require lifting and carrying, general handwork such as inserting leaflets in magazines, shrink wrapping and packing.


No experience is necessary as full training will be given. However, you will need to be reliable and an excellent timekeeper, have a keen eye for detail and a bright ‘can-do’ approach to work.


Part Time Drivers We require part-time van drivers to deliver throughout the country,


although most deliveries are in East Anglia.


The role may involve some yard work, ie. moving pallets and unloading lorries. A fork lift licence would be useful but is not essential.


The candidate will need to be flexible as this is only a part-time role and you may be required to work at short notice.
