anessa Helmick, founder and owner of Fiore Home, is an interior designer with an affinity for all things non-toxic and beautiful. The words "green" and "eco" are overused, so she prefers to educate clients on non-toxic, durable options for their home.


V Fusion™ mineral paint is intended


for those who are updating their kitchen and bathroom cabinets on a budget and is also great for furniture. It offers an environmentally conscious formulation, zero VOCs, superior durability, easy one- step application and significantly improved strength. Delivering an exceptional matte finish, this 100% acrylic paint requires minimal prep work! It has a built in top coat and covers easier than milk or chalk paint. It doesn't contain the chemicals found in wall paint and is more affordable as well.


Fiore Home chose to carry the colors that fit in with New England homes: whites, greys, blues, greens, and a bit of orange for fun. Fusion™ was created by and is owned by a mother/daughter team which fits in perfectly at Fiore Home with their other boutique items from female owned companies. Vanessa’s goal at Fiore Home is to make good, healthy design options available to any budget and she feels she can do that by carrying Fusion™ mineral paint.


Vanessa Helmick attended Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, and has focused on residential interiors since 2005. She practiced residential design in Los Angeles and Orange County be- fore relocating to Portland, Maine, in May of 2010. Since that time, her interior design work has been featured in several magazines, newspapers, radio, and television throughout New England.


Fiore Home is located at 34 Washington Avenue, Portland. Open to the public, Thursday-Saturday, 11am-6pm.

The candidate will be responsible for networking, generating leads and consultative sales in the healthcare, hospitality, restaurant and retail industries.
