Farewell to the 2016-2017 Prefects

It is with a touch of sadness that we say thank you and goodbye to the prefects of 2016-2017. They have been ably led by Ben Sheppard and his two deputies Alex Wright and Lewis Shepherd, a trio that have been tireless in their mission to fairly distribute and oversee the duties of the prefect team. It is not an over exaggeration to say that without the support of the prefect team, the perception gained by visitors to Poole Grammar School would be a less genuine and informed one, parents’ evenings and events would not run as smoothly and the canteen queue would undoubtedly be more akin to a rugby scrum. On behalf of the Head Teacher and all members of the school community, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each member of the outgoing prefect team for their time and support in fulfilling their duties.
