Unveiling The Beauty Within By Joan Snow

TRANSFORMATION is to change the condition, nature or

function of, to change in potential or type, to change the per- sonality or character of, to change the form or outward appear- ance. Heraclitus, a Greek philosopher once said, “Change is the only constant in life”.We are told that change is good. Yes, that is true, however, at times it depends on whose perspective it is coming from. If you are the initiator of “the change”, then yes it is good and things will usually be easier to handle. However, if others introduce “the change”, then it challenges us to open our thinking – nudging us to step out of the box and take action. When we do take that step out, whether we take it smil- ingly or begrudgingly, the shift within us is occurring. When we become aware that doing the same thing (our

thinking, speaking or physical behaviors) over and over again and yet expecting different results, we have begun the process. Then the acceptance comes within that we need to change the specific condition, circumstances or a certain behavior of what we have either outgrown or is simply an unhealthy habit for us. We realize that it no longer serves us, but is blocking us from taking the next step forward and living a more satisfying life. Sometimes, we get to the point of, we are tired of feeling

tired. Toxins tend to build up within our system putting a bur- den on a particular area of our body – which then puts more demand upon other areas of our body. Now your body is oper- ating at an imbalance. Disruption in the flow of healthy energy that is the main cause of illness. Not feeling at our best is cost- ing us our quality of life. It is not until something occurs to upset the apple cart, so to

speak, that we are encouraged to begin getting in tune with our- selves. It could be from someone bringing it to our attention or our own “AHA” moment. However you get to the point of wanting to take action within yourself, you are now willing and open to improve and enhance yourself. It is a matter of giving ourselves the time to digest the shifting of thoughts, emotions and actions within oneself. Learning to be gentle with yourself as you go through the processing is essential. This is how Intuitive Energy Healing and Reiki can help

you. Reiki is the Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Intuitive Energy Healing and Reiki are the spiritually guided energies that are facilitated through me, working with you. Healing is a three-way agree- ment – you, the Divine/Universal energy and myself. When a person is ready to adjust within, the body is prepar- ing to shed the debris of thoughts and emotions left over from

the various unpleasant, trying

episodes in our life. Regardless of how long one has unconsciously held on to these negative energies that have become stuck within ones’ own patterns of behavior, the body lets us know when it is ready to let go. Transforming is a process of clearing and releasing the

stuck energies that no longer serves your health or your need to hold onto them. Eliminating the negativity or toxins within ones’ system may occur through your skin, lungs, liver, kidneys and in other ways. These are good signs indicating that healing on various levels is taking place – which is a normal part of the transformation. This is a time to nurture yourself by drinking more water, getting more rest and getting out in nature. Even a brief period of time of rest or being in nature assists the exchanging of old and vibrant energy. Out with the old and in with the rejuvenating energy. Healing can also take place on the emotional, mental and

spiritual levels. This can occur in various ways and can bring about changes in accordance with a person’s life.Aperson may have physical symptoms or some form of dis-ease within the body and yet the healing occurs on deeper levels. All parts of ourselves are connected. If healing occurs in one area, it can affect all other areas to a lesser or greater extent. When transformation takes place, your energy system will

begin operating on a higher level of efficiency. As the energy exchange occurs, you are connecting with clarity to your inner self. When your body completes adjusting to the new level of health – you will feel better!Your inner gifts of beauty will now have the space, freedom and creativity to come through and explore. Radiating beauty shines from within through the sparkle of a persons’ eyes, the kind words from a persons’ lips, the light within a persons’ heart and the richness of their soul. This is what transforming oneself is all about – reconnecting with our spirit and soul. What a beautiful journey it is to learn more about oneself!
