Brassed Off /EODS The musical play of hope, romance - and brass bands
Bretforton Silver Band joins EODS in a spectacular staging of this unique theatrical experience. It's 1992, Grimley Colliery faces closure. With miners torn between redundancy packages and picket lines, band-leader Danny’s hopes of winning the national brass band competition seem a distant dream. But flugelhorn-playing Gloria brings hope, romance and controversy to this brass band on the brink of collapse.
Adapted by Paul Allen for the stage, based on the screenplay by Mark Herman from the film. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc. & in association with Bretforton Silver Band.
