Folk in the Foyer: Steve Turner Singer, concertina-player & multi–instrumentalist


Steve Turner is a pioneer of highly sophisticated and innovative English concertina song accompaniments, with one of the best voices in the business. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who accompanies himself on the cittern, mandolin and banjo. Steve's musical focus and vast repertoire have earned him rave reviews and many radio plays. Since returning to the folk scene in 2005, Steve's musical focus & vast repertoire have earned him rave reviews and many radio plays on BBC Radio 2 & Radio 3 - not least for his latest album "Spirit of the Game".
