Turkey’s not just for CHRISTMAS GOING NUTS FOR NEW BOOK!


A host of guests passed through the doors at Chic et Tralala in Holly Bush Lane, Sevenoaks, for the launch and signing of local food writer, author, and food and prop stylist Natalie Seldon’s debut cookbook, The Goodness of Nuts & Seeds, a collection of more than 40 delicious recipes.


Sevenoaks- based Natalie was on hand throughout


the evening to sign copies of the book and pose for photos, as well as share with guests an array of edible delights from the book, along with a glass of fi zz or two! For anyone who missed the event but would still like a copy of the book (published by Kyle Books, £9.99), which can still be signed by the author, then pop into Chic et Tralala.

New local burger restaurant opening this month


After a long search to fi nd the right location, Marlowe’s burger restaurant is set to open at 102 Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells this month. The premises, which were previously a wine and convenience store, required a complete fi t-out to transform it into the classic style that will defi ne Marlowe’s, creating a burger bar that will appeal to families with children, or adults looking for a beer – or gin! – with their burger.


The restaurant is the brainchild of burger-obsessed Sean Marlowe, who has spent the last two years travelling the world visiting burger joints and sampling their menus. The licensed restaurant, which will


serve real burgers made from scratch using choice cuts of local Sussex beef, will seat up to 25, with takeaway and delivery services also available. • Follow on FB @MarlowesTW
