Final Symphony: Final Fantasy Concert Experience Final Symphony: The Ultimate Final Fantasy Concert Experience features the music of Final Fantasy VI, VII, and X, with the San Diego Symphony perform- ing the musical score live on stage. Final Symphony takes the music of composers Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu and reimagines it as fully real- ized orchestral suites including a heart-stirring piano con- certo based on Final Fantasy X arranged by composer Hamauzu himself, and a full 45-minute symphony based on the music of Final Fantasy VII. Glenn Vanstrum Pianist Glenn Vanstrum majored in music at Grinnell College before attend- ing UCSD School of Medicine and training in anesthesiology. Vanstrum performs works from classical, romantic, and modern repertoire on a regular basis. The program will include perfor- mances of pieces by Beethoven, Debussy, and Brahms. Musical Melange The event features six performance groups from the North Coast Symphony Orchestra. The program, titled “Musical Melange” will include a string quartet playing “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” by Mozart, a wind quintet playing the “Spanish Encores” arranged by Silvia Coricelli, one of the “London Trios” by Haydn featur- ing two flutes and a cello, and the “Trio Pathetique” by Mikhail Glinka for piano, clarinet, and bassoon.
