1 Multi-Weight Scales
Our Multi-Dial Scales are available in different weights, and with different dials, to ease children into reading and interpreting the numbered divisions on a scale from when they start weighing and measuring.
In this brand new set we provide you with 3 sets of scales; one of each weighing 1kg, 3kg and 5kg. These variations ensure there is a purposeful reason for making the choice of equipment and that children have appropriate scales for measuring a diverse range of objects and weights.
Each scale comes with 7 different dials, progressing from unnumbered divisions at halves, to those at quarters, fi fths or tenths; with amounts shown as grams (g) and kilograms (kg). This means that all stages of development in reading scales from Year 2 to Year 6 are covered, including reading numbered divisions, half-divisions, between two unnumbered divisions, and comparing readings on different scales. For each scale there is also a conversion dial showing lb and oz, matching these to the g and kg equivalents.
The dials are simple to change and reusable, and can be marked on with a dry-wipe pen. The measuring pan is easily removable so it can be washed and stored separately. Set contains 3 scales and 21 dials.
