About Steve


Steve and his family relocated from Sussex to live permanently in Dartmouth earlier in 2014. After many years in corporate life,


Steve turned to his life-long love of working with wood full time. He specialises in creating one off pieces of furniture, internal and external joinery.


Steve prides himself on delivering craftsmanship at a reasonable price.


Steve knows the importance of understanding his client’s requirements, creating unique yet functional pieces, that suit an individual customer’s vision and style.


Bespoke furniture


Tables steve can build a wide range of tables for all tastes, including traditional Oak refectory, maple and hardwood pieces through to ultra-modern designs using composite materials.


Beds and bedroom furniture Beautiful hardwood Mahogony style sleigh beds, expertly turned four poster oak beds or one-off designs in any size and shape for the truly stunning bedroom showpiece.


Bespoke fitted wardrobes and kitchens steve can turn tricky spaces into practical and elegant storage solutions to suit any home, from Victorian panelled, to oak and cedar creations using traditional techniques, through to modernist units utilising high quality runners and soft close hinge systems.


Studies & functional cabinets turn an otherwise dormant space into a functional workstation or family study. From oak panelled rooms and bespoke libraries to practical modern workstations with all the mod-cons required for homeworking.


Other work includes; Internal barn style doors - external doors - entrance gates – nautically influenced designs in teak and hardwood. steve can also work with metals and glass and project manage other specialist trades including blacksmithing for projects where wood, glass and metal are involved.
