Rotary story : Because of Rotary, kids stop dying. Because of Rotary, I will graduate and will try to practice the values I learned from Rotary. Because of Rotary and ShelterBox, thousands more kids and their families do not have to sleep outside tonight.


Here are some tips to get your club on the right track and unleash some positive energy:


• Have an appealing club programme year ahead serving both your local and international communities.


• A keynote speaker has been identified for at least one meeting per month.


• A family and friends network is established and invited along to help with service projects or attend club events.


• Rotary must have at its core, the twin ideals of Fun and Fellowship and your club meetings should reflect this


• All your public facing events are resourced with up to date professional literature about your club around the Rotary theme of ‘We’re for Communities’


• That your existing membership wears their pin, and talks up Rotary at every opportunity both at home, in the workplace, on holiday… anywhere! • Appoint a club Mentor; ensure that the members understand the basics of what being a Rotarian is all about.


And finally..... Clubs who tell a positive story,
