Both the Car Scheme and Legends are remote factory facilities and the role of Colleague Services Manager holds responsibility for all aspects of facility management, including health & safety of workers and visitors alike as well as being responsible for the delivery of two component parts of the Colleague Services strategy being the Car Scheme and Legends. Legends operates as a social enterprise with its own business accounting; therefore entrepreneurialism is required.

The Colleague Services Manager will have the ability to prioritise own tasks and work flexibly towards sensitive deadlines and will have significant experience in a customer facing role with conflict management skills. The successful candidate will have a level of facilities management and conference and leisure experience with a thorough understanding of budget creation, tracking and control. Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement in a cross company setting is desirable as is experience in creating and delivering a communication and marketing strategy.

The post holder will be effective and influential when communicating with individuals at all levels from the Board to shop floor and will be effective at setting realistic but ambitious targets through an annual appraisal system.

Applicants will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent, possess an NVQ Level 4 in Business Management/Hospitality or equivalent and hold an IOSH certificate, as well as being a Personal Licence holder (For the sale of Alcohol).

As Health & Wellbeing Manager you will be responsible for managing the Fitness Suite and all related fitness areas to maximise income by delivering ever greater operational and customer service excellence. Through training and developing your staff to the highest professional standards, you will attract and retain more loyal and engaged customers whilst Bridport Leisure Centre maximises its financial viability with the net result being low customer attrition and therefore increased profitability through membership retention.

You will lead and inspire your Staff so that they have the freedom to make decisions about every aspect of the fitness operation at the leisure centre in an environment which is fast moving, dynamic and customer centric.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to analyse problems and implement necessary actions, be good at problem solving and descion making.
