AIRBRIDGECARGO AIRLINES TAKES DELIVERY OF FOURTH BOEING 747-8F
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of Volga-Dnepr Group and Russia’s largest cargo airline, has taken delivery of its fourth brand new Boeing 747-8 Freighter from Boeing in Everett (USA).
The aircraft operated its first commercial flight on the airline’s Chicago (USA)- Amsterdam (The Netherlands)- Moscow/ Sheremetyevo (Russia) route, and is being utilised on ABC’s existing route network linking Europe, Asia and the USA via AirBridgeCargo’s hub in Moscow.
With delivery of the fourth new generation Boeing 747-8F AirBridgeCargo is continuing to follow its long-term fleet modernisation strategy to further improve the quality of its product. The new 747-8F is quieter and offers lower fuel consumption as well as significantly reduced CO2 emissions.

AirBridgeCargo’s current fleet consists of 12 Boeing 747 aircraft (five Boeing 747-400ERF, three Boeing 747-400F and four Boeing 747-8F).
90 TONS OF OILFIELD EQUIPMENT ARRIVES IN SURGUT
Volga-Dnepr Airlines’ latest transportation solution for the oil and gas industry has seen one of its Antonov AN-124- 100 freighters deliver over 90 tons of oilfield equipment from Calgary in Canada to the Russian city of Surgut.
The cargo of Calfrac Well Services Ltd consisted of two pumps used to perform hydraulic fracturing on 13-meter trailers, a 12-meter truck-mounted blender and auxiliary equipment for oil and gas well stimulation at fields
in Western Siberia. This was the sixth delivery of oilfield equipment performed by Volga-Dnepr Airlines for Calfrac Well Services from North America to Russia.
The transportation was ordered by Dialog Freight International (DFI), a major freight forwarder in the CIS region and a long-term partner of Volga-Dnepr.
