Te increases in domestic holidays in the UK has been a boost
SRP Risk & Finance LLP and GVA Leisure, involved the separation of Forest Holidays’ cabin business from its camping business and introduced Lloyds Development Capital as leading shareholder. Te camping busi- ness has been renamed Camping in the Forest
LLP, and is majority owned by the Camping & Caravanning Club and the Forestry Commission. Director at GVA Leisure, John Anderson,

Green light given for £5m Harlow leisure plans
Harlow town centre’s ongoing transformation has received a boost with news that planning approval has been given for a £5m leisure desti- nation. Located in the upper floor of the Harvey
Centre shopping mall, the scheme comprises a multiplex, five restaurants and two cafes. Colman Architects is in charge of the design. Details:

Swansea watersports centre opens
Te 360 Beach and Watersports Centre in Swansea Bay has opened its doors to the public. Te new £1.4m facility, operated in partner- ship by Swansea University and Bay Leisure, will feature beach and water sports as well as football and rugby facilities. Organisers hope to prove Swansea’s status as
a world-class destination for beach- and water- based sports, as well as improving accessibility and inclusivity in sport through the activities available. Te opening weekend featured free taster sessions for children and adults includ- ing beach volleyball, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and power kiting. The project has been managed by
Swansea Council and is backed by the Welsh Government through the European
