Our HEAL (Health, Exercise, Active Lifestyles) recommendation programme has gone from strength to strength. This post will provide the key coordination for the programme, manage the relationships with health professionals, instructors, support groups and patients alike.

County Durham Sport is one of 49 national County Sports Partnerships. We are looking for an experienced strategic manager with a passion for sport and physical activity to lead the County Durham Sport team and ensure the delivery of Sport England funded projects and programmes. You will play an active role in a new Sport and Physical Activity strategic partnership in County Durham, alongside a range of key partners, with the aim of increasing participation across County Durham.


You will have strong managerial skills developed in a multi-partner environment. This may have been in a sports environment or another relevant setting. You will be experienced in motivating teams and delivering practical solutions to delivery challenges. Programmes and projects are delivered by the team directly or, increasingly, commissioned through partners.


This is a fl exible role, which will require occasional evening and weekend work. County Durham Sport is hosted by Durham County Council.


An enhanced CRB check is required.

Impressions Operations Manager (Job Share) – AH669 Salary: Circa £26,000 (pro rata) Based in Huntingdon


One Leisure manage five fitness facilities within the Huntingdonshire District area, we are seeking a professional, innovative and driven individual to join our award winning team in supporting the existing Impressions Fitness Suites Operations Manager in the role as a job share (15 hr per week). This role will be a varied working with Fitness and Centre teams at sites. Impressions Fitness Suites utilise the Technogym Wellness system which requires further development to manage KPA’s for staff to improve retention and customer service. Experience of working within a Leisure environment is vital for this role and gym work is also preferred. Wellbeing Manager – AH671 Salary: Circa £25,000 (pro rata) Based in St Ives


One Leisure have invested in a £4.2M development at its flagship site, One Leisure St Ives. The facility will boast a bowling alley, bar/restaurant, dance studios, as well as a state of the art gym with functional training kit, free weights training area and general CV area there will be a day Spa facility which will offer beauty treatments as well as the traditional heat treatment rooms, spa pool and relaxation areas. The facility will require an experienced manager who has worked within the leisure or gym and ideally the spa industry. The ideal candidate will be professional, articulate and deliver the service to the highest standard. The role will involve management of both, fitness professionals and therapists where motivation, mentoring and support of these roles is fundamental to the customer experience and retention.
