WIND MEASUREMENT SYSTEMS They deliver wind measurement systems for all sizes of installations up to large scale windfarms, both onshore & offshore and cover the entire lifecycle of wind measurement, from pre-development wind resource assessment, to power curve monitoring on operating windfarms. Their online data system provides reliable upload to a secure server and web-based visualisation.
TECHNOLOGY RANGE AND STANDARDS Their engineering team have unrivalled experience in providing leading edge wind data capture solutions and provide the full range of met masts including lattice guyed and free-standing masts to 100m+, in both temporary and permanent variants. All the masts fully comply with industry standards BS8100, BS5950 & BS EN 61400-
12-1, and all steelwork galvanising is to BS EN ISO 1461.
WMI are certified by Natural Power on ZephIR Lidars, and regularly install and service Lidars throughout the UK. They install all the leading brands of measurement instruments including Class 1 anemometers, top class data loggers, and renewable battery charging systems.

Having installed masts in challenging conditions in remote areas all over Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England they provide a comprehensive after-sales service including regular climbdown inspections, repair callouts, mast refurbishments & decommissioning.
All works are carried out by staff training under the Obelisk Group Training Passport system. they are ISO 9000 certified, Achilles and SAFEcontractor approved, and have won NISO Health and Safety Awards for the last 6 years including Best Specialist Contractor. All new lattice masts carry a Structural Engineer’s Certificate.
WMI works closely with leading wind analysis consultancies to ensure that wind measurement campaigns deliver the optimum value.
