Not only that but Northern Ireland has a great history in ‘big engineering’ with the Harland & Wolff ship building facility based in Belfast harbour.
INWARD INVESTMENT As some may remember, Harland & Wolff was the birthplace of the iconic Titanic and far from being negative about the past, Northern Ireland sees the 100th anniversary this year of this gargantuan engineering feat as being the rebirth of the area in the eyes of the world.
Befast Harbour, Northern Ireland Science Park, Titanic Quarter, all featured within this focus have attracted investment of many £millions to ensure Northern Ireland’s success in engineering, technology, learning, culture and tourism, far into the future.
