Identity Crisis

Organizers of the 2nd Annual Identity Crisis plan a fun-filled charity event for August 12 in Shep- herdstown. Participants are encouraged to “change their identity” for the night and with 8 Estab- lishments participating it is sure to be a night to remember. The night starts with a movie at the Opera House at 5:30pm, followed by karaoke at the Yellow Brick Bank at 9pm and music all evening at other bars. All proceeds go to medical expenses and aid to Brenda Doss, a local resident who is battling cancer. There will be specials like Brenda-tini’s and Wicki Wacky Whoo’s and donation- only-cover for anyone in an identity. Participants are encouraged to come out in their identity in support of Brenda and to help raise cancer awareness in our communities. See Facebook “Identity Crisis 2011” or the ad in this Observer for more information.

The Observer the largest circulation newspaper in Jefferson County.
