Bespoke to run newbury hotel peTe hayman


Newbury Racecourse and Bespoke Hotels have agreed heads of terms for a 10-year hotel man- agement contract at the Berkshire venue. The racecourse operator will own the


120-bedroom property to be built as part of a multi-million pound redevelopment of the venue. It is due to open in 2014. Under the plans, the hotel will be called Te


Newbury and will include 3,800sq m (40,903sq ſt) of event and exhibition space. Newbury Racecourse joint managing direc-


tor Sarah Hordern said: “We wanted to steer away from a corporate style hotel offering and find a partner hotel which echoed our charac- ter and unique offering. Bespoke Hotels offers us that and more.” Bespoke Hotels CEO Haydn Fentum added: “The Newbury will enhance the offer and
