RECORDS IN GAZA


More than 7.200 children bounced their basketballs simultaneously for five minutes in front of the Gaza International Airport, which has been repeatedly bombed by Israel since 2000. So, for the second time this summer Gazan children broke a world record. This picture documents the spontaneous celebration that took place with everybody throwing their basketballs into the air. Asmaa Serhy, 12, had the following comment: "I hope one day I can fly from this airport as a player of Palestine's national basketball team"
