Sharek is my second family. Hani, 27

Sharek is the place where you find yourself between people of the same age. There is space for creative thinking and to develop new ideas. You find that you have some freedom you didn’t know about before. It’s a place where you feel free and comfortable which is not often found in Gaza. Yahya, 24

Sharek is tailored to the particular needs and demands of Gaza’s youth. The staff is of the same age as the target groups, which makes us know what young people in Gaza really want. And Sharek offers us chances by letting us participate in the decision making. Nadeen, 26

Sharek is building up an active youth, and makes them aware of their rights. I grew up with Sharek, I joined it when I was a kid. I didn’t have any skills, but Sharek gave themto me. Hussein, 24

I believe in Sharek because it’s really helping our society. There are too many organizations that don’t care for young people. Khaled, 25
