Passed away on July 27, 2010 at the age of 88. She lived in Detroit for over 60 years, before moving to Knoxville, TN in 2008 to live out her final days with her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


During her early years in Detroit Ollie (Louise) was very active in the church com- munity. She was a member of Prayer Taber- nacle, where she served on various auxilia- ries, later she joined United Temple of Truth and continued her work in the ministry.


Ollie worked as an LPN for Temporary Health Care Services, serving in various hospitals in and around Detroit. After re- tirement in the mid-80’s, she enrolled at Wayne County Community College and received her Associates degree.


Ollie was well known for her lively spirit.


Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Paul AME Zion Church, 11359 Dexter Ave., Detroit, MI.
