Required as soon as possible. An enthusiastic, well motivated and qualified manager to assist in the continued development of a successful rural School Sport Partnership as part of the National PE & Sport Strategy for Young People (PESSYP).

The Assistant PDM will work alongside an experienced PDM to manage a large partnership comprising 11 secondary schools, including the host Sports College, and 94 primary schools across two local authority districts.

This post would suit someone from a sports development background who has the required experience, skills and knowledge.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager at Whitby

Leisure Centre, a wet and dry facility within the beautiful old town of Whitby set between the coast and the stunning North Yorkshire Moors.

You must have relevant experience of working in the leisure industry and hold a recognised leisure management qualification along with a RLSS NPLQ qualification and first aid at work certificate.

As well as the above qualifications we are looking for someone with excellent organisational and customer care skills including knowledge of customer focused quality systems such as QUEST.

Duties include marketing of the facility and its programme, responsibility for co- coordinating the activities and specialisms of the Duty Manager team, assisting in promoting and developing events at the facility, deputising for the manager wherever necessary.
