It is fast growing and dynamic and has recently been selected by Southampton City Council to be its principal sport and exercise delivery partner over the next 15 years. Working with DC Leisure, its campaign to positively benefit the City’s population begins in September, building participation in physical activity across eight venues, although encouraging the population to attend a facility is only part of fulfilling the Charity’s vision!

Operations Manager – Daventry

This role is a crucial part of the business, heading up the duty management team and leading on Health & Safety (Ideally NEBOSH or IOSH qualifi ed) and day to day management issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:-

● All aspects of the operation of the busy Leisure Centre & Sports Park, ● Exceeding the expectations of the local community whilst working within the performance criteria set out in the business plan.

Sales & Fitness Manager – Daventry

To be responsible for the day to day operation of the fi tness facility and sales department reporting to the Contract Manager.

Key duties and responsibilities will be

● Provision of excellent customer service, ● Ensure the provision of a dynamic and exciting group exercise program ● Exceed the site’s sales targets in liaison with the Group Sales Coordinator and site sales team

● Delivery of the sites retention targets set out within the business plan.

Duty Manager - Wantage

As directed by the General Manager, supervise and assist in all operational aspects of the business.

Tasks Include

● Management of cost effective staff rotas and supervision of employees ● Implementation of the company’s Health and Safety Policy ● Act as key holder ● Monitor plant and equipment and report defects.

Fitness Equipment Service Engineer

Events Executive/Manager

Experienced Events Executive/Manager required for the most popular visitor attraction in the South of England.

The site runs an ongoing and important programme of events across a wide spectrum of entertainment, history and education. Over 500,000 people visit this award-winning attraction every year, from holiday-makers, international tourists, children on school visits, groups and businesses. The Historic Dockyard’s attractions include Mary Rose, National Museum of the Royal Navy, HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and Action Stations.

This demanding position requires you to have proven experience in developing and staging large scale outdoor public events, concerts, festivals and in-door exhibitions. You will be responsible for scheduling, pre-event planning and logistics, budget management, sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and exhibitors as well as producing reports to measure and analyse event effectiveness.

This is a hands-on role where you will need to be creative in identifying and developing new event and exhibition opportunities, sourcing funding and sponsorship where appropriate and maximising income generation whilst still enhancing visitor experience to help continue the work of these Charitable Trusts in preserving the iconic ships, museums and artefacts. You will possess strong attention to detail, have excellent interpersonal skills working in partnership with key stakeholders and the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as the ability to prioritise a busy workload.

Salary: Negotiable depending on qualifi cations and experience.
