Tell us something surprising about Argentina L) Its size – every corner of this country dazzles with diversity. N) Esteros del Ibera is one of the most important fresh water reservoirs in South America. The most remarkable animal species you can spot there are the marsh deer, the capybara, the black howler monkey, the maned wolf and the neotropical otter. Aquatic safaris are organised in the moonlight to watch the nine-banded armadillo and the mount cat.


What’s the one stereotype about Argentina that you’d like to smash? N) Argentina is not only about Tango and folklore; the roast and the gaucho; the sea and the mountains; football and wine. Our country is a contrast of thousands of amazing experiences. L) Our country’s attractions are not


limited to Maradona or Messi. Our culture is shaped by our immigrants’ backgrounds, their colourful creative art and their robust culinary footprint.


What’s the best way to see the


real Argentina? N) Go to Catamarca province, or visit Bañado La Estrella wetland area. Here, you can see the hidden Argentina, and its kind people. L) Sit for a cafecito (small coffee), in one of our notable cafés – you´ll feel transported to a different decade. Taste our traditional Asado (barbecue), gather with friends around the parrilla (grill) waiting for the beef to reach the perfect point of tenderness and flavour.


If money’s no object, how should you spend a holiday in Argentina? N) If you want to drink the best Malbec in the world, you should go to Mendoza. If you want amazing landscapes you can go to the Patagonia. If you want to know the life and the culture of the native people, you should go to the North.
