Tell us where and how you met Stuart We met at the Connections Luxury white label event at the Conrad London St James, where HL Adventure sponsored an Icelandic-themed dinner on the second evening.


What activities did you bond over? The wine-tasting and canvas, and the cocktail making!


What made you realise the synergies between Luxury Travel Advisors and HL Adventure? It was clear we had the same interest in the market and similar ideas about what luxury travel experiences should be like


What happened after the Connections event?


We stayed in contact with many phone calls, we became a friends, and had a lot of fun. Finally, Stuart and Alice came over to Iceland and experienced of what Iceland has to offer – and how HL Adventure provides unique luxury holidays.


How beneficial has your relationship with Stuart become? First of all, we’ve built a good friendship, but we also have a lot of joint projects in progress. I am really excited for our future.


How often do you still see each other or speak? We speak regularly by phone (weekly), send each other emails, catch up on Facebook or WhatsApp and we have met at Connections Luxury events since. Often when I have some ideas now, I’ll pick up the phone and call Stuart.
