What do you remember most about your first meeting with Jón? I remember listening to Jón talk about Iceland and he was just so passionate about his country. I could have listened to him all night.


What are your fondest memories of your first Connections together? We met in the bar on the first night and spoke for at least two hours! We just connected. The more we spoke, the more I knew we would be working together. The next day, we had a nice walk round the Churchill War Rooms and, on the way back, we decided it would be nice to carry on the meeting at the bar, again…


How do you feel the that Connections Way helped foster a strong connection

between you? Connections gives you the time to really get to know someone. It may sound simple, but it doesn’t happen at the big trade events. There, you have ten or 15 minutes to get both stories across before having to move on. Also sharing an experience with your meeting is a brilliant way to not only break the ice, but to bond you.


How beneficial has your relationship with Jon been? It is not often that you meet a potential supplier at a trade event and they become good friend so quickly. I believe this friendship developed so quickly because of the Connections way. We currently have enquiries with them for future clients. More importantly, some very exciting projects we are planning together for the near future. Watch this space!
