that the industry has not shied away from, perhaps most especially among the men and women who store and apply crop protection products in the communities in which they work and live. In my nearly two decades of work judging and engaging in the Environmental Respect Awards program, I’ve seen a steady raising of the bar as far as commitment to safety and stewardship. It’s become much more difficult in a pool of high achievers to find the locations and individuals that truly rise above the others. To me, that’s a testament to real industry advancement worldwide. The other remarkable trend has been the depth of communication and community


involvement displayed by the nominees through events and open houses, plant tours and special events that show how much businesses care about their place in the community. Truly, the businesses profiled in these pages are champions for the industry and


for their communities. We at CropLife and AgriBusiness Global magazines have deeply appreciated
