ENVIRONMENTAL RESPECT 2O16 ABOUT THE PROGRAM
HOW THE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPECT AWARDS PROGRAM WORKS Farm supply retailers from the U.S. and specified regions around the world visit
EnvironmentalRespect.com and use the online entry process to conduct an audit of their own businesses, answering questions about their facilities and their commitment to environmental stewardship, safety, security and critical material handling and storage. Entrants upload supporting photos and documentation for independent, confidential review and judging by a panel that includes members of Meister Media’s editorial and business teams, DuPont’s stewardship leadership, and representa- tives from various agriculture associations, organizations and related businesses. This year, 15 operations from four regions (North America, Latin America, Asia/Pacific, and Europe/Middle
East/Africa) and one Spirit of Respect winner are honored in late July at a four-day event in Wilmington, Delaware. The Celebration week culminates in the unveiling of the Ambassadors of Respect, one from each of the four regions.
