MOCELLIN COMERCIO DE INSUMOS AGRICOLAS LTDA PERSON, PLANET, AND PROFITABILITY

A

S BRAZIL’S LARGEST corn and soybean producing region, Mato Grosso has set the standards for

the country’s agriculture and business development for years. Mocellin is emblematic of that growth and achievement. The company, located in the city of Sinop, sees agribusiness and its operations playing an important role. “We truly believe that what we do is more

than a business; it is the solution of future problems of mankind,” says Anderson Holz, Administrator. “Agribusiness leverages the development of entire regions and will feed the world. We are part of it all. This message is communicated in company videos, as well as through our campaigns and class projects, through which we focus on meeting the next generations.” Holz says the company is aware of its role in the

environment and agricultural value chain and forms the basis of its strategic planning for what it calls “triple-bottom-line sustainability.” This approach assumes that there is only longevity and success in an organization when it balances the person, the planet, and profitability. “We put this concept into our attitude and

actions from day to day. We believe that even in initiatives that seem minor at first, it makes a difference in making a more sustainable world,” says Holz. Mocellin demonstrates its commitment to modern

agriculture and environmental responsibility with its renovated, clean facility and by following all safety, security, storage and handling standards. It participates in Project DuPont School to promote safe farming in the community and support positive attitudes among children and their families about agriculture. — Jackie Pucci
