Franz Plasser joins Ainsworth UK
insworth recently announced the appointment of Franz Plasser as Sales Manager.
Mr. Plasser brings a wealth of experience in international gaming to this new position. He has gained invaluable experience not just in slot machine sales in Europe and Latin America. The operations management he gained throughout the years naturally brings a closer understanding of operator and player needs as well. Ainsworth (UK) Ltd is fully
dedicated to the European market and further strengthening the team – less than twelve months since the appointments of Ben Challenor and Stephen Miller – both underlines this and mirrors the increasing demand for an ever-expanding gaming range. Mr. Plasser’s business professionalism fits extremely well into the company philosophy of continual improvement.

Maryland Live! accounts for 60% of revenue contribution
A
ccording to the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency, Maryland casinos contributed $487 million in revenues to the State in FY2015.
Of this total, $301,168,736 was contributed by Maryland Live!, the State’s largest and top performing casino, which averages $50 million in gaming revenue per month, more than double that of its closest regional competitor.
With more than 10 million visitors per year, the facility
consistently ranks as the top performing casino in the entire mid-Atlantic gaming market, including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, and New Jersey. The State receives approximately $1M per day in
taxes from Maryland Live!, including gaming, property, employment, real estate, sales and use taxes, making it the highest taxpayer in the State. The Casino is also one of the largest employers in the State with over 3,000 Team Members. “Maryland Live! is very proud of its role as a major

Casino brand is poised for explosive growth with announcements coming soon about plans for a hotel and conference center expansion at Maryland Live!, as well as the development of the new Live!
