Anton Du Beke and Arlene Phillips to join P&O’s dance cruises


Strictly Come Dancing stars Anton Du Beke and Arlene Phillips have joined the line-up for P&O Cruises’ dancing-themed sailings. The pair will join several cruises


set to take place this summer around the Mediterranean. Professional dancer Du Beke will join Azura’s 14-night Baltic Escape cruise in June, while former judge Phillips will be on Britannia’s 14-night Canary Islands cruise in July.


Dancers already confirmed for the themed cruises include Karen Hauer, Kevin Clifton, Kristina Rihanoff and Pasha Kovalev. Each cruise will offer passengers the chance to learn moves from four of the show’s dancers during regular classes. Luxury French cruise line Ponant has launched a commission incentive offering agents the chance to earn more for bookings. The line has raised commission

by five percentage points to celebrate the fifth anniversary of ship, Le Boréal. The ‘Operation 5x5’ incentive means agents will earn an additional 5% commission on top of their existing commission, while customers will receive 5% off the price of their cruise. The offer is valid for five weeks and applies to five cruises departing between August and December. Agents must use the ‘Operation


5x5’ code at the time of booking to benefit from the incentive. The cruises in the offer are the 10-day Pribil of Archipelago and Kodiak Peninsula cruise from Seattle onboard L’Austral; the eight-day Dalmatian Odyssey cruise on Le Lyrial; Le Boreal’s 11-day cruise from San Francisco to California Bay; and Le Soleal’s 16-day The Kuril Archipelago and 11-day Christmas in the heart of the Pacific sailings.
