SHACK STANWICK
The last of the famed Stanwick siblings sets Wall Street in his sights
What’s one thing you can’t live without? Chipotle. It’s just so good every time.
What’s one thing that always puts you in a good mood? Watching a good movie. I like all genres, but comedy is my favorite — “Dumb and Dumber” and “Wedding Crashers” just to name a couple.
What’s been the proudest moment of your
lacrosse career? Winning the [MIAA] championship with Boys’ Latin was awesome. It was almost as much of a relief as it was joy having lost the year before in the championship.
What was your favorite class in high school? English with Mr. Higginson. He had a way of teaching that was really engaging, which helped me better understand the class. My favorite book was “Lone Survivor.”
Where did you go on your last vacation? I was in the Hamptons — West Hampton, N.Y. My sister, Wick, has a house there, so a couple of us went up in July. We usually hang out at the beach all day and then go out to dinner.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done? I went mountain biking in the Adirondacks. It was a really cool experience with awesome views and was a lot of fun.
What are you looking forward to most about Johns Hopkins?
I’m just excited to meet the guys. My brother, Wells, goes there now. It’s definitely really cool to be bumping into Steele (Blue Jays women’s assistant) a lot too.
It’s 2024 — Where are you and what are you doing? I’m living in West Hampton and working on Wall Street.
OVERTIME (from North Carolina midfielder Marie McCool): If you were given the opportunity to do any activity you want, what would it be?
I would probably play golf more often.
DOUBLE OVERTIME (from Kim MacDonald, Jackson, N.J.) What’s your biggest fear, if any, when you step on the field? Letting my teammates down.
Pose a question for our next subject. If you could go to any city or country, what would it be?
