A Happy New Year to all from SGB Golf! This month our January issue comes to you in two parts. Our usual January issue is here with the second in our two-part PGA Merchandise special. We will also be shortly releasing our annual SGB Equipment Guide for the new golf season where we welcome back the services of Carly Frost, Duncan Lennard, and Sports Marketing Surveys Inc. to offer us some in-depth analysis. I start our 2014 with a bit of good news; the UK retail sector is set to grow by 2.4% in 2014 to £324bn.


The reports, led by analytics company SAS and retail analysts Conlumino, predicts retail growth will be its highest for six years. Are we finally leaving behind the global financial crisis?
