Dr. Asser Mohamed Hassan Salama Born in Alexandria in 1968


Bachelor of Faculty Of Medicine – Alexandria University 1992


Dr. Asser held his MBA in 2004 From the Arab Academy of Science and Technology. Worked as a physician in Alexandria University Hospitals for 3 years where he had his master degree


Worked in pharmaceutical marketing business in one of biggest international pharmaceutical companies in Egypt for 1 year


Worked in the pharmaceutical field in one of the most eminent pharmaceutical companies in KSA as a general sales coordinator for another 1 year


He turned back to Egypt to establish ELHEDAYA MEDICAL CENTER which is one of the biggest medical centers in west Alexandria in 1997


In the year 2000 Dr. Asser established EASY BEAUTY Company which was a pioneer in its field of production to become the market leader in the field of 100% natural hair removals in 2003 due to the unique marketing , sales , distribution , & management schemes


In 2005 he established EASY CARE FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS to be also the pioneer in local production of high quality wet wipes for all applications which became the market leader in Egypt in 2007


In 2010 EASY FOR HEALTH & BEAUTY CARE became one of the biggest local companies in its field by adding new lines for producing antiseptics , creams , wax strips , & also wet wipes Dr. Asser holds a diploma from Harvard school of business from USA


In 2012 he decided to grow the business enormously & go global by going through a private equity funding with the respected famous CAPITAL TRUST of EURO MENA which added a lot of expertise & know how to EASY


DEAL OVERVIEW


Cairo – February 2013 – Easy Group and EuroMena II announced that both parties signed a partnership allowing “EuroMena II”, one of the most active private equity funds in the Middle East, to acquired 20 percent of Egypt’s “Easy Group”, a pioneer in the field of high-quality natural depilatory, wet wipes and personal care products, in order to support the group in strengthening its presence in Egypt and expanding into the Gulf market and MENA region. This is the Fund’s third investment in Egypt since the revolution of January 25, 2011.


Easy Group Founder and Chairman Dr. Asser Salama said that the partnership with the EuroMena Team will provide “a key support for the Group’s regional expansion plans, particularly towards the GCC countries.” He added that EuroMena “will deploy its expertise and skills to enhance Easy Group’s governance and administrative functions, thus strengthening the corporate


identity


and transforming the Group into a renowned regional corporation”.


Dr. Salama said “Easy Group is a market leader today in the field of wet wipes, natural hair removal “Halawa” and antiseptic products with more than 65% market share. Moreover, the Group will support the rise in health awareness amongst the Egyptian society and the growing interest of Arab consumers in general for healthcare and health protection means”.
