Cyclist mag tops 7,000 subscribers
DENNIS, THE publisher of Cyclist magazine, has revealed the title to have doubled its anticipated subscriber levels by the end of 2013 – with over 7,000 now signed up to receive the title. Publisher Nicola Bates told BikeBiz: “Our task for Cyclist in 2013 was simple, make the core audience aware of us, sample to them and convert them to buying on a regular basis. We seem to be doing this at a greater rate than expected,
plus on another positive note, we've also had 23,699 downloads since launch and 16,634 active users of the app in of October. A very pleasing set of numbers all round.”
The publisher now reports an 23 per cent jump in average sale per issue figures year-on-year, with the biggest selling October edition having shifted over 22,000 copies.
