www.knapp.com ABC audit helps MHL clients make informed decisions

Materials Handling and Logistics September 2013 is expected to be bumper issue with a selection of exclusive features, case studies and application stories.

MHL, which for a long time has been running as a bound-in supplement in the long established Factory Equipment maga- zine, has grown substan- tially in stature this year.

As one of the Connecting Industry publications, Factory Equipment, and by extension MHL, recently underwent an ABC audit of circulation. This is extremely beneficial for clients and advertisers as it means they are now equipped with the ability to make informed media buying decisions across our print, online and email platforms.

In our efforts to make our September issue of MHL the best it can be, we will be running a selec-

tion of first-rate editorial features. These include: • Design considerations for loading bays and doors are vital in terms of safety, and energy effi- ciency. In our feature, an industry expert delves a little deeper into this issue touching on a few indus- try-relevant examples. • With an independent report revealing that changing business volumes are becoming a single business priority for logistics heads, we find out how voice-directed technology is integrated into existing technology without expensive outlays on equipment required with terminals even vehicle mounted for use on forklift trucks.

• A provider of IT solutions for global trade and logistics will explore how a weak UK economy affects the business strategies of supply chain man- agers; why inventory is key in total supply chain spending; and what warehouse operators should consider before signing on the dotted line.
