Last year’s debut show Franchise Opportunities Live was a such a success that its return for 2013 (7 & 8 September, Heathrow) is a near sell-out event. Thanks in part to our new franchise recruitment concept – based on an enhanced targeted marketing strategy and pre-arranged appointment system – the event, at the Radisson Blu Edwardian hotel, is set to be a hive of productivity, with a batch of serious and high-quality prospects lined up to meet their perfect business match. If you can’t make this event, then we are offering similar matched meeting services at The National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham (4 & 5 October). We are well and truly embracing girl power here at VMG. McDonald’s is hosting an open session at The British Franchise

Exhibition in Manchester (21 & 22 June) aimed exclusively at potential female recruits, and this year’s National Franchise Exhibition also sees the launch of the women in franchising theatre. As ever, we have an ear to the ground to stay on top of what franchisors and franchisees (both current and prospective) are asking for. Holding female-focussed events was one response to demand, and an international focus is another. In light of the popularity of recent international seminars, we will be broadening our horizons to help those wishing to bring an overseas brand to the UK, or vice versa. We look forward to offering more information on opportunities abroad, and to incorporate and develop our global focus in upcoming campaigns.
