Attention Youth Tour alumni CEC needs your help to find former Youth Tour winners

ince 1964, Choctaw Electric Cooperative has sent 115 high school juniors and


three teachers on the all expenses paid Rural Electric Youth Tour in Washington D.C. 2013 will mark the program’s 50th anniversary.


The Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives (OAEC) and participating electric


cooperatives across the state are coordinating a special 50th reunion of Oklahoma’s Youth Tour participants. The date is tentatively set for July 20, 2013.


All former Youth Tour alumni are invited to the reunion which will be held in Oklahoma City. There is no charge for former Youth Tour participants to attend


the reunion but there will be a small fee for their guests. Keep watching for more details as plans for the reunion are confirmed. If you would like to share information on the whereabouts of any of these participants, please email Tonia Allred, CEC Youth Tour coordinator, at tallred@ choctawelectric.coop, or call 800-780-6486, ext. 217.
