100% Design Preview

Giving it IOO%

A1 Lighting takes a look at some of the exciting exhibitors attending this year’s 100% Design.

100% Design is now in its eighteenth year, and for 2012 the exhibition takes on the theme of ‘100% Future Living’. With a slightly new layout, the show this year will feature four different sections: Interiors, Office, Kitchen & Bathrooms and Eco, Design & Build. The exhibition this year has a dedicated seminar programme, which is the most ambitious to date. The seminars combine high-level, global content with the creative issues that are relevant to designers today. The theme of Future Living runs through much of the seminar content this year, with much of the discussion and debate focused on the subject of future trends. This show is set to be more exciting than

ever before, and we cannot wait to walk around and meet some of the innovative exhibitors strutting their stuff this year!

Davey Lighting – Stand L200

New for Autumn 2012, the Diner pendant demonstrates Davey Lighting’s increased manufacturing

capabilities thanks to its recently acquired Birmingham metalworks. The traditional box light – usually seen in its smaller form, flanking period properties – has now been super-sized to create a robust yet elegant pendant, available in weathered or polished brass and polished or satin

nickel. Pared-down lines and simple bulb holders suspended from cotton braided cable create a clean silhouette, perfect for hanging above dining tables, over kitchen work surfaces and in hallways. With two open sides and four clear glass panels, the Diner pendant looks particularly smart paired with traditional filament bulbs. www.davey-lighting.co.uk
