Bosch unveils new hammers

Bosch’s stand emphasised the fact that this year the manufacturer is celebrating 80 years of hammer production. New products include the GBH 2-24 D Professional and the GBH 2-24 DF Professional rotary hammers in the 2kg class, which replace the existing GBH 2-23 RE. Designed to provide a faster drilling rate, they incorporate a rotation stop for chiselling work. The D model has a fixed chuck, while that on the DF version is changeable. Both tools produce 790 watts of power and 2.7 joules of impact energy. Bosch believes the machines will prove popular with hirers wanting to supply tradesmen with a solution giving all-round performance for a wide range of applications.
