However, as much as I love being able to launch these new techie developmernts, our new sales and marketing director has hauled me (not exactly kicking and screaming) from behind the nerdy computer, to remind me what it is I’m actually trying to achieve through sportEX. As a result we’ve seen many of you at COPA, The SMA Annual Conference, Exercise Is Medicine in Cardiff, and even a couple of you in the US at the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. It has been reinvigorating! While I confess that I enjoy the nerdy side of the job, like anyone who chose physical therapy as a profession (at least originally), I’m a people-person at heart and I’d forgotten how good it is to hear directly from you, what you find useful about the journals. It reminds me why I started sportEX. My dream is the same now as it was 14 years ago. We’re here to transform the ever-expanding research base into good solid practical application and help make your lives a bit easier.
