Janos “Jon” Georg had a childhood dream to write music in an effort to touch everyone’s heart around the world. But, like many of us, Georg put his dreams aside to study and work hard to make it in the real world.
“Two decades later, I found myself living a modest but comfortable life as a teacher, surrounded by wonderful people and lots of good things to be grateful for,” Georg said. “Yet, something was missing. That was when I realized that I drifted away from my dream even though it was still there in my heart. I decided to give my dream a chance.” To be able to devote all of his time, energy and resources to music and his dream to “embrace the whole world,” Georg reorganized his life, much to the shock and astonishment of the people around him.
“I totally understood them,” he said. “It doesn’t seem right in the eyes of the world to leave behind your career for a dream.”
Georg soon found himself devoting a year of his life to a creative idea involving a nationwide music project. As a result, he published a music DVD, called A Smile From Life, in Hungary prior to Christmas 2009.
“That felt good,” he said. “I knew I was on the right path, and I spent the next 11 months figuring out what a possible next step could be.”
It was at this time, after months of research and experimenting, that inspiration struck Georg. “I found the seed of the idea of the Ark of Dreams,” he said. “It felt good from the moment I found it in my heart.”
