A-Plant’s bright solution

A-Plant has bought 100 environmentally friendly VT-1 Eco mobile lighting towers from TowerLight UK. A variant of the popular VT-1 SuperLight, the machine has a light detection sensor and auto stop/start mechanism that automatically switches on the unit when the ambient light has descended to a pre-determined level. Similarly, the sensor closes down the lighting set when there is sufficient brightness.

This alleviates the need to employ a team of operatives,

travelling around a site manually to start and stop each set, at night and in the morning. TowerLight estimates this can also reduce pollution levels by up to 30%.
