FNB – Innovation Champions

During 2010 First National Bank implemented 779 of the 8,528 innovation ideas received. During the first six months of 2011 they have implemented 927 innovations. It is no doubt the biggest award scheme run in South Africa with a total in excess of R7 million paid out to programme winners in 2010 alone.

Management Today met up with Paul Steenkamp, Innovators Programme Manager and discussed the programme and also how FNB has created and sustained an innovation culture.
