District meetings scheduled for Aug. 2


Cooperative members in Districts 1, 3, 5 and 7 will meet this month to elect cooperative trustees. If you live in one of these districts, you will receive an official meeting notice in the mail.

Any member living within a designated district may run for the position of cooperative trustee, however, certain


qualifications apply. you will find trustee qualifications listed in the Kiamichi Electric bylaws, available online at www. kiamichielectric.org, or pick up a copy at the Kiamichi Electric office in Wilburton.


To hold a district election, a quorum must be present at each meeting. A quorum is ten percent of members living in each district.

Operation Roundup is a voluntary program that raises thousands of dollars to improve the health and well being of southeast Oklahomans.


Applications for Operation Roundup funds are available at local social service agencies, at the KEC office in Wilburton, or online at www. kiamichielectric.org.


Right of way maintenance is key to reliable electric service for you and your neighbors. For the next four months, crews will be working in the following areas. Please give them your
