ROTATING LOO
The LeeSan CT3000 self-contained cassette toilet has a
seat that can be rotated on top of the bowl, so that it can
be fitted in corners or at right angles to a bulkhead. The
plastic bowl has a ceramic inlay for scratch resistance and
easy cleaning. The 19ltr waste tank, flush water system
and flushing mechanism are concealed in the body of the
CT3000. The waste tank has built in wheels and a telescopic
handle, so that it can be moved about ashore easily. It’s also
fitted with a contents level indicator.

STAY SAFE
This Jackstay from Baltic Safety Products is made from 25mm
polyester webbing with a tested strength of 2 tonnes (2,000kg). For
setting up on deck, the Jackstay has a stitched loop at one end and a
stainless steel ‘ladder’ adjuster at the other. Maximum length is 12m.
To avoid weakening by UV degradation, Baltic recommends removing
the Jackstay when it’s not in use and storing it out of direct sunlight.

TWO SHOES
Sports shoe company Teva has launched two styles of sailing shoe;
the Seasyde and the Pelican. The Seasydes are in the style of a
trainer, while the Pelicans look a little more ‘traditional’. Both types
of shoe are made with waterproof leather uppers, moulded PU liners
and midsoles and the Pelican’s have mesh inserts for ventilation and
drainage. The non-marking soles are ‘siped’ (razor cut) in particular areas
for grip on wet decks.
